As an alumnus of the University of Toronto, Wei Jian (Wai) Li has enhanced his background in exercise physiology and personal training with the completion of his Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours degree. He is experienced with assessing lower limb biomechanics and carrying out exercise protocols.
With a family history of diabetes combined with his fascination for diabetic management, Wai was inspired to pursue further education at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN where he received his diploma in Chiropody with Distinction. During his time at Michener, Wai gained extensive clinical knowledge at various Chiropody clinics where he was responsible for leading the diabetic care team through seminars on the management and monitoring of diabetic conditions for all incoming new patients.
When Wai is away from the clinic, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, going on hikes, and travelling. He is a sports enthusiast which strengthened his special interest in sports injuries and lower limb biomechanics.
Wai looks forward to meeting you at LMC, Canada’s largest specialist care provider in diabetes, and would love to work with you to achieve your best foot health!
